FCCLA Chapter Recycles Paper
Over 5330 Pounds this year!
The Howells FCCLA members have recycled over 5000 lbs. of paper products during the 2011-2012 school year. Each week a committee of FCCLA members collects recycled newspaper, office paper, cardboard and magazines from containers placed in the school classrooms and office areas. The paper is weighed and taken to the Green Fiber recycling trailer. The chapter has recycled 5330.9 lbs. of paper since the beginning of the school year.
The money raised from this project has been earmarked by the Village of Howells for the Howells Swimming Pool. The Howells FCCLA members would like to thank the administration, staff and students at Howells Public Schoosl for their cooperation with this recycling effort.
