The last time you heard from us about the power drive car, we had just finished applying Bondo. At the beginning of March we proceeded to clean up the frame in order to apply primer. The primer was applied in the second week of March. While the primer was being applied, a part of the class began trying to make a shell for the car out of cardboard that the local furniture store was gracious enough to supply. After several failed attempts at trying to make the shell out of cardboard, we opted to go back to a plastic shell. The reason we tried cardboard was it was light weight, and, with the right sealants, it’s just as durable as the plastic that was previously used for the shell. Now we are just waiting on parts we have ordered and are hoping to be rolling by the middle of April.
