5th Graders Enjoy Visit to Parkview Home
The 5th Grade class spent some time at Parkview Nursing Home in Dodge on Friday, December 5, 2014. The students all chose a holiday book to read to a resident of Parkview Home. Once they got done reading the books, the kids did a holiday crossword puzzle and word find with their resident. Both the students and the residents had a great time trying to solve the puzzles together.
The students also got to play "Plinko" at the nursing home, which they all really enjoyed. Korbyn Hawk and Ashlynn Throener tied for the high score from our class. They each got a score of 125. As the residents started playing and showing us how it was done, they scored several more points than the students.
This was truly a delightful afternoon. We would like to thank Parkview Home for allowing our students to spend time with them!
