FCCLA Meets January 11
The Howells-Dodge FCCLA Chapter met on Thursday, Jan. 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Howells-Dodge Consolidated Schools. The meeting was called to order by Dax VanLengen, following the opening ceremony. Members were thanked for their help with December activities and for donations to the food drive. District STAR Events are Friday, Jan. 19 in David City at 9:00 a.m. Contest information was shared. FCCLA scholarships for seniors are available at nebraskafccla.org. FCCLA Week is February 12 – 16. Plans for activities were made. Any member interested in singing the National Anthem for State Leadership Conference can submit an audition cd by Feb. 1. The meeting was adjourned. Door prizes were given by Jordon Brichacek to Jacob Tomcak, Cassie Pieper, Lexie Brester, and Dax VanLengen. Lunch was served by the sophomores. A STAR Event work night followed the meeting.
