Jaguar Speech Team Picks Up Wins in January

The Jaguar Speech Team has gotten their season off to a quick start. The team has attended four meets so far which puts them at about the halfway point of their regular season. So far, the team has sealed up two tournament championships along with a championship JV finish and a tie for 3rd place in the varsity division at their home meet in Howells this last week. Individuals earning medals so far on the season are:

Rebecca Swanda: humorous runner-up at the Jaguar Jaunt; poetry champion at the Jaguar Jaunt and North Bend Invitational; poetry runner-up at the Jaguar Jabber

Ellie Sheaks: humorous -  5th place at the Pierce Invite, champion at the Jaguar Jaunt, 4th at the North Bend Invite, 5th at the Jaguar Jabber

Holly Tomcak: serious - 4th at the Jaguar Jaunt, 6th at the North Bend Invite

Jordyn Brester: serious - 5th at the Jaguar Jaunt, JV champion at the North Bend Invite

Holly and Jordyn: duet - 3rd at the Jaguar Jaunt, 4th at the North Bend Invite, 3rd at the Jaguar Jabber

Katelyn Steffensmeier: informative - champion at the Jaguar Jaunt, 5th place at the North Bend Invite, 3rd at the Jaguar Jabber
