Howells-Dodge FCCLA Met On November 13

The Howells-Dodge FCCLA Chapter held their November meeting at 7:00 p.m. on November 13 at Howells-Dodge Consolidated Schools.  Following the opening ceremony, President Mitch Yosten called the meeting to order. The minutes of the October meeting were read by Hannah Bayer, Secretary.  Treasurer Lane Hegemann read the financial report.

 

The president thanked members for their participation at District Leadership Conference and for the outstanding job of selling for our Food Sales Fundraiser.  The top sellers in the FCCLA Food Sales were recognized. Overall top sales – Jayda Bazata; Seniors – 1.  Bridget Praest, 2.  Erin Prusa, 3.  McKenna Klosen; Juniors – 1.  Luke Hegemann, 2.  Courtney Bayer, 3.   Alex Recker; Sophomores - 1.  Jayda Bazata, 2.  Cassie Pieper, 3.  Logan Fiala; Freshmen – 1.  Kennady Schmidt, 2.  Ashlynn Throener 3.  Lilly Praist.

 

New business included discussion of the FCCLA Adopt-A-Grandparent Program, the FCCLA Christmas Party on December 10, Craft Show In Dodge on December 1,the concession stand on December 4, and Teens in the Driver Seat.  The FCCLA Babysitting Service will be held on December 8.  State Officer, State Peer Officer Team, and FCCLA Scholarship Applications were discussed and are available at www.nebraskafccla.org.  The Feed Nebraska Food Drive will be held in December.  The meeting was adjourned.  Door prizes were won by Chloe Pieper, Luke Rocheford and Callie Jackson. Lunch was provided by the senior members.
