FCCLA Week was celebrated Feb. 10 - 14
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Howells-Dodge FCCLA Chapter did a variety of activities during FCCLA Week Feb. 10 – 14. On Monday, Feb. 10, the state theme was “What’s Your FCCLA Story?” A Penny War to collect money to benefit Nebraska cancer patients began for grades 7 – 12. It was also “Hush Day” and Brady Lund was the prize winner. The theme on Tuesday, Feb. 11 was “Your Future Career Story”. FCCLA members delivered thank you boxes of candy to the businesses in Howells and Dodge. Wednesday, Feb. 12 was “Educator Day”. Rolls and juice were provided for students and staff before school and treats were shared in school staff member mailboxes. On Thursday, Feb. 13, the theme was “Celebrate Your Family’s Story” and FCCLA members were reminded to wear red. On Friday, Feb. 14, the theme was “Leaders in Red”. Members delivered cookies and flowers for Valentine’s Sales. This day was also the final day for the Penny War. The Howells-Dodge FCCLA would like to thank all those who donated to this important cause. The winning class was the seniors.
