Jaguar Quiz Bowl Begins Season with a Trophy

The Howells-Dodge Quiz Bowl Team attended their first competition of the year on Wednesday, October 7th. Four of the ladies on the team traveled to Seward for the Young Woman's Quiz Bowl Competition. The team was sponsored by the Howells Woman's Club. The team of Jadyn Burenheide, Jordan Howell, Kennady Schmidt, and Sophie Dvorak breezed through the round robin portion of the tournament ending the morning with a record of 3-0, setting them up as the second seed of the bracketed afternoon tournament. In the single-elimination bracket, the team claimed three straight victories, including their championship win over Cross County. The team is excited to see how their year will continue.
