District 5 FCCLA Officers were elected May 25

    FCCLA Officers and Advisers from District 5 had a meeting in Columbus at The Broken Mug on Tuesday, May 25 at 4:00 p.m.  The 2020-2021 representatives from each chapter were welcomed.  Elected as District Officers were:  President - Haley Sebranek of East Butler; Vice President – ViviAnne Sayer of Schuyler; Secretary – Alexis Kalkwarf of High Plains; Vice President of Competitive Events – Marisa Malander of Boone Central; Vice President of Public Relations – Brooklyn Macholan of Howells-Dodge; Vice President of Special Events – Walker Gullicksen of Madison; Vice President of Outreach – Maddie Reeves of St. Edward; Vice President of DLC Awards –  Macy Clausen of Leigh-Clarkson; and Historian – Braxton Small of David City.  District 5 Adviser is Marla Prusa of Howells-Dodge.

    Plans were made for the District 5 Leadership Conference which will be held on Monday, October 11 at Central Community College in Columbus.  The conference theme, keynote presentation and breakout sessions were planned.  Each chapter and officer contact responsibilities for the conference were also discussed.

    District 5 STAR Events will be held on Wednesday, January 26 in Leigh.  Megan Hillen will be the District 5 STAR Coordinator.
