2021 Rib Run Was Held on September 11

     The 2021 5K Rib Run began at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 11 in Howells.  50 participants were registered for this year's event.  The top four runners were:  1st Place - Hunter Luther - 21:36, 2nd Place - Cael Jones - 22:38, 3rd Place - Ethan Prusa - 23:33 and 4th Place - Noah Coufal - 23:58.  The top 3 placers in each event received a medal.  This year's winners were Girls 10 and Under:  1st Place - Kinsley Jones, 2nd Place - Karlee Bourek, 3rd Place - Scout Huenemann.  Girls 11 - 18:  1st Place -  Addison Heard, 2nd Place - Riley Svehla, and 3rd Place - Addie Dobbins.  Women 19 - 30:  1st Place - Erin Dostal, 2nd Place, Tonya Brester, 3rd Place - Tiffany Brabec.  Women 31 - 50:  1st Place - Melissa Bayer, 2nd Place - Megan Huenemann, 3rd Place - Mary Baumert.  Women over 50:  1st Place - Karen Baumert, 2nd Place - Sharon Bohaboj, 3rd Place - Linda McQuiston.  Boys 10 and Under:  1st Place - Cael Jones, 2nd Place - Mitchell Svehla.  Boys 11 - 18:  Hunter Luther - 1st Place, Ethan Prusa - 2nd Place and Noah Coufal - 3rd Place.  Men 19 - 30:  1st Place - Raul Smith.  Men over 50:  1st Place - Dan Busch.  FCCLA members who helped with registration and at thefinish line were Ashlynn Throener, Brady Lund, and Landon Dobbins.  This year's Rib Run T-shirts were designed by Kennady Schmidt and Abbey Pieper.
