Howells Schools Foundation Awards Scholarships

The Howells Public Schools Foundation Scholarship fund provided scholarships for three 2022 graduates from Howells-Dodge Consolidated Schools. Kennedy Schmidt received a $750 scholarship and will be attending the University of Nebraska-Kearney majoring in Pre-medicine/Chemistry. Abigayle Voel was given a $500 scholarship. She will be attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and will major in Forensic Science. Jaedyn Ratzlaff received a $500 scholarship and will be attending Southeast Community College in Beatrice, majoring in Physical Education.
Lilly Praest was the recipient of the $1,000 Fred Novak Scholarship. Lilly will be majoring in Nursing at the College of St. Mary in Omaha.
With the Howells-Dodge Alumni Banquet just around the corner, the Howells Public Schools Foundation would like to remind alumni classes that donations to the scholarship fund are always welcome. Checks can be made payable to the Howells Public Schools Foundation and mailed to Connie Dostal, Howells-Dodge Consolidated Schools, P. O. Box 159 Howells, NE 68641.
