FCCLA Meeting Was Held March 6

 

   The Howells-Dodge FCCLA Chapter met on Monday, March 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the FCS Room.  Following the opening ceremony, Vice President Aiden Meyer called the meeting to order.  Carly Bayer shared the minutes of the last chapter meeting.  Natalie Pieper gave the treasurer’s report.

    During old business, members were  thanked for their help in making FCCLA Week a success.  The chapter received the 2nd Place Community Leader Award and 2nd Place Career Leader Award at the Peer Education in Kearney on February 27.  State FCCLA Leadership Conference on April 2-4 was discussed.  The chapter’s Adopt-A-Grandparent Program will be held on Tuesday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Howells-Dodge Commons Area.  The FFA-FCCLA Banquet will be held on April 24 at 6:30 p.m.

     Selected to serve as FCCLA Officers for 2023-2024 were:  District Officer - Nathan Hegemann, President - Landon Dobbins, Vice President - Connor Kreikemeier, Secretary - Kara Cerveny, Treasurer - Natalie Pieper, Publicity Chairperson - Reagan Koliha, Historia - Carson Heard, Power of One Chairperson - Colton Klosen, and Recreation Chairperson - Rylan Nelson.

The meeting was adjourned.  Door prize winners were Rylan Nelson, Kelsie Coufal and Chelsea Ramirez.  Snacks were provided by the freshman members.
