Lady Jags win against Logan View

The Lady Jags picked up another 3-set win on Thursday, September 19th versus the Logan View Raiders. They swept the Raiders, in three sets. The Jags won the first set 26-24, the second 25-16, and the third 27-29. It was a nice win for the Jags bumping their record up to 7-5. 

The first set, the Jags, started a little rough, losing by six at one point before they came back tying the score at 16 after an error by the Raiders. The rest of the set was neck and neck, but the Jags prevailed winning 26-24.

In the second set, the Jags dominated, never letting the Raiders come back within a three-point radius after the first few points of the set. 

The final set was a very tight battle, but the Jags came out victorious. Once the Raiders tied the score up at 24, each team traded points back and forth until the Jags won the set after a Raider hitting error. The final score of the set was 27-29.

Statistically, Ava Noyd led the Jags with 9 kills, followed by Bella Koliha with 8, Kylie Brichacek with 6, and Peyten Becker with 5. Jade Bayer led the team with 29 digs, McKenzie Sindelar had 15, and Peyten Becker had 14. Ava Noyd put up two blocks and Peyten Becker, Audrey Brabec, Bella Koliha, and Taylor Steffensmeier each had one. McKenzie Sindelar dished out 12 assists and Taylor Steffensmeier had 10. Peyten Becker led the team with 3 aces, and McKenzie Sindelar and Taylor Steffensmeier each had two.
