Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Saturday, December 18, the Howells-Dodge Jaguars took on the Clarkson Leigh Patriots in a battle. The Jaguars take the win over the Patriots 71-49.
Andre Martin led the team with 20 points, and Dane Meyer followed closest with 17 points, 15 coming from beyond the arc. Ethan Prusa had 10 points. The Jags boarded hard, with Andre Martin pulling down 11 of them. Dane Meyer had 10 assists.
The Jags weren’t off to the greatest start ever, but by the end of the game, they managed to pull the strings together and get the win. This was a good win for the Jaguars as they head into winter break undefeated. They will play David City Aquinas in the holiday tournament over winter break.
