September Meeting
AdvancED Meeting Minutes
The HDC SIP team (school improvement process) had a meeting on September 4 in the Howells library. Attending the meeting were Mrs. Bazata, Mr. Coon, Mr. Groene, Mrs. Prusa, Mrs. Throener and Mr. VanLengen.
Mr. Coon updated the groups on the collection of data that he has done in the past month. He has set up spreadsheets to track assessment data (NeSA, MAP, ACT and DIBELS) by cohort. He also set up surveys for stakeholders that will be given at a later date.
Next Mr. Coon informed the team about expectations for the external visit. This included what will take place and the activities that need to be accomplished.
The groups then started to look at Standard 1 and went through the three indicators and the evidence/artifacts the district had that pertained to the Howells site.
Lastly, the group went over their homework that needs to be completed before the next meeting. Everyone was given a rubric on processes that they needed to fill out and rate the district on. They also had to come up with any notable achievements that the Howells site had accomplished since consolidation.
The next meeting will be at October 2 at 7:15am in the Howells site library.
