November Meeting
SIP Mintues
The HDC SIP team had a meeting on November 6 in the Howells library. Attending the meeting were Mrs. Bazata, Mr. Coon, Mr. Groene and Mrs. Prusa. Mr. Coon gave out the finalized copy of our SIP Action Plan. This includes: SIP goal, supporting data, benchmarks, interventions and strategies, PD and a summary table. Next we discussed the AdvancED training that we attended on October 23 and 24. All agreed this was a valuable training. We learned more about properly using and presenting school data and how to input our reports on ASSIST (online AdvancED tool). Teachers then submitted notable achievements (activity and athletics) that will be added to our ASSIST. We then started rating Standard 2 for the Howells site. We did not completely finish with all indicators (2 left). We will start on these at the next SIP meeting. For our next staff PD, we will be rating both sites on standards 3 and 5. Upcoming SIP activity includes training on November 17 at ESU 7. The next meetings will be on December 4 and 18 at 7:15am in the Howells site library.
