HDC Students Participate in Entrepreneurship Showcase
The Central Community College hosted its Entrepreneurship Showcase on Tuesday, April 21 from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. Area high school students in the college Entrepreneurship in Action class shared their entrepreneurship projects at the showcase. These students have attended a class at CCC one Saturday each month during the 2014-2015 school year. They also have completed coursework, written a business plan, and created a product or service to sell as part of their project.
Participating in the showcase from Howells-Dodge Consolidated were Echo Smith and Savanna Hurley-Szabo. Echo’s business is EBS Photography and she exhibited a variety of her photos for her project. Savanna’s business is Ambrosia-Lea Photography and she showed several of her landscape photos at the showcase. Also, attending from Howells-Dodge was Marla Prusa, who assisted the students with their entrepreneurship projects.
