Twenty Howells-Dodge Seniors Graduated on May 11

 

   

     The Commencement Ceremony for the Howells-Dodge Class of 2024 was held on Saturday, May 11 at 4:30 p.m. at the school gym in Howells.  The processional, "Pomp and Circumstance" was played by Wayne Molacek as the seniors walked to the stage.  A welcome was given by Connor Kreikemeier, class vice president.  Principal Jordan Brabec introduced the Salutatorian, Landon Dobbins.  Landon then shared his speech with the audience. Guidance Counselor Pam Bazata presented scholarship awards to the seniors.  Mr. Brabec then welcomed Valedictorian Natalie Pieper to the stage to present her speech.   The seniors presented a white lily, the class flower, to their parents while the class song, "Til You Can't" was played.  The senior slideshow, created by Natalie Pieper, followed.  Superintendent Mark Ernst, introduced the seniors and Howells-Dodge School Board President Jason Kreikemeier presented diplomas to the students.  Class president Landon Dobbins led the class in the turning of their tassels and Mr. Ernst gave the closing comments.

    2024 Howells-Dodge graduates were:  Lane Belina, Justenne Carstens, Kara Cerveny, Kylee Compton, Landon Dobbins, Oscar Dominguez, Ariel Griffin, Kiearra Harper, Austen Hegemann, Nathan Hegemann, Hannah Hinrichsen, Preston Jensen, Colton Klosen, Reagan Koliha, Connor Kreikemeier, Rylan Nelson, DeLoise Peacock, Natalie Pieper, Liliana Sotelo and Gage Stutzman.
