FFA members attend Greenhand Day

On September 9, new members of the HDC FFA chapter attended Greenhand Day at CCC. This event is designed to introduce first-year members to the FFA organization and help them learn more about what it has to offer. Throughout the day, the members had the opportunity to learn about the FFA Creed, leadership opportunities, and the different activities they can participate in as FFA members, like CDEs and LDEs. They also learned about the importance of teamwork, communication, and getting involved in their chapter. The experience helps new members discover what interests them and encourages them to take advantage of the many opportunities FFA makes available. For many of the new members, Greenhand Day was a great way to begin their FFA journey. The event encouraged students to become involved, try new things, and make the most of their first year in FFA.
