Lady Jags fall short against LCC and HLHF
On October 10th the Lady Jags played Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family at Humphrey. The Lady Jags lost in two sets against LCC, with the score of the first set being 24-26 and the second set 23-25. Leading the team in kills was Kylie Brichacek with 6, Peyten Becker had 5, Ava Noyd, Audrey Brabec, and Bella Koliha all with 3, and Taylor Steffensmeier with one. Leading the team in blocks was Noyd with 2, and Brabec, Becker, Koliha, and Brichacek all with 1. Steffensmeier led the team in assists with 18. Leading the team in digs was Jade Bayer with 14, Becker and McKenzie Sindelar with 13, Brichacek with 5, Steffensmeier with 3, and Audrey with 2. Steffensmeier led the team in aces with 2 followed by Noyd with 1.
The second game of the night the Lady Jags played HLHF. The Lady Jags lost in two sets with the first set score being 20-25 and the second set 14-25. Leading the team in kills was Brichacek with 7, Becker with 4, Koliha and Noyd both had 3, and Brabec with 1. Noyd led the team with 3 blocks, followed by Becker with 2, and Brabec with one. Leading the team with digs was Bayer with 17, Brichacek and Becker with 11, Sindelar with 5, Steffensmeier and Noyd with 4, and Brabec with 2. Steffensmeier led the team with 16 assists. The Lady Jags will play again on October 17th for the Conference tournament. They will play against the Wakefield Trojans at Lyons starting at 6 pm.
