Jaguars host a triangular in Howells
On Tuesday, September 8th, the H-D Lady Jags hosted a triangular at Howells. The girls went 1-1 on the night, defeating the Pender Pendragons in 2 sets and losing to the Tri-County Northeast Wolfpack in 3.
The girls got off to a hot start, winning the first set against Tri-County 14-22. Things got a little rough in the second set when Tri-County won 22-25. Tri-County also won the third set 22-25. The team had a total of 77 digs during this game, with Kylie Brichacek racking up 19 of them. They finished with 34 kills and 3 blocks during this game.
For the second game, the girls played well. They won both sets. The first set was 19-25. In the second set, things got a little intense, but the girls still managed to pull off the win in a 26-28 battle. They had a total of 25 kills, where Kylie had 10, and Audrey Brabec and Peyten Becker had 6 each. The team also had 49 digs. Brynn Throener had 15 and McKenzie Sindelar had 10. They also were 87% on their serves. Overall, the girls played a solid night of good-quality volleyball and their season is starting off well.
