Lady Jags Sweep LVSS

The Lady Jags volleyball team hosted the Logan View Raiders in Dodge on Thursday, September 17th. The Jags started off strong and never looked back, defeating the Raiders 25-14 in set one. Set two was a tough battle for the Lady Jags up until the final point, but they found a way to fight through and won the set 25-23. In the final set, the Jags once again came out hot and continued their dominance, winning 25-14 and claiming another victory, bumping their record up to 11-1. 

Statistically, for the Jags, seniors Audrey Brabec and Kylie Brichacek led the team in kills, each tallying 9, followed by Peyten Becker and Isabella Wegner with 8 each, and Bella Koliha with 3. Behind the service line, sophomore Addison Heard, Peyten, Bella, junior Riley Svehla, and Kylie each served one ace. Both Audrey and Kylie totaled 3 blocks, followed by Isabella with 2, and sophomore Tenley Ernst and Bella with 1 a piece. Peyten led the team in digs with 10, followed by both Riley and Kylie with 9, Bella Koliha with 8, and Brynn Throener with 7. Riley dished out 27 assists on the night, and Addison had 3.

The Lady Jags next face the Guardian Angels Central Catholic Blue Jays in West Point on Tuesday, September 22nd.
