Sophomores Attend Career Day at Midland University
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Monday Jan. 25th, HDC Sophomore class attended a Career Day at Midland University in Fremont. In the morning, students were greeted by motivational speaker Aaron Davis a former Husker who played on the 1994 Championship team. He talked to them about not just going and looking for a job but searching for your passion in life. Then students were allowed to visit a variety of different career fields ranging from Agriculture to Transportation. After lunch, the students went to various enrichment sessions that talked about setting goals, scholarship searches, good grades, the importance of getting a degree, and hot jobs for the future.
