Cyclones go 0-3 at Arlington Tournament

On Saturday, September 20th, the HWY 91 Cyclones played against North Bend Central for their third game. The Cyclones came up short with the score being Tigers 7 and Cyclones 4. The Cyclones had 4 runs and 5 hits in this game. The team also had 1 stolen base by Reann Bruhn. For the putouts by the Cyclones, the total was 18, with Grace Hansen and Reese Bruhn each with 4. For the second game, the Cyclones competed against Lincoln Northwest. It was a hard battle for our Cyclones, and the score ended up being Falcons 5 and Cyclones 4. During this game, the team had 4 runs and 4 hits. Grace Hensen had 1 stolen base in this game. The Cyclones had 21 putouts, with Reese Bruhn having 5 and Allie Dirkschneider also having 5. For the first game at this tournament, the Cyclones went up against the Arlington Eagles. The score for this game ended up being Eagles 5 and Cyclones 4. The Cyclones had 4 runs and 5 hits during their game. Allie Dirkschneider had one stolen base in this game. In total, the Cyclones had 18 putouts, with Reese Bruhn having 10. 

The Cyclones will go against the North Bend Central Tigers in their first home game in Dodge this season on Monday, September 22nd, starting at 6 pm. The Cyclones will then have another home game in Dodge against David City Aquinas, with JV starting at 5 pm. On Thursday, the Cyclones will travel to O’Neill to take on the Bluejays, with JV starting at 5 pm. The Cyclones will end their week of games on Saturday, September 27th, with a triangular in Tekamah starting at 10:30 am.
