Jaguar Jabber
The speech team performed at the Jaguar Jabber on January 28th in Howells. The schools that attended were David City, Shelby-Rising City, Battle Creek, and Humphrey- Lindsay. Addi Beeks got 1st in Varsity Extemporaneous, Cooper Kreikemeir, Garret Praest, Isabel Belina, Nathan Tomcalk, and Noah Coufal got 1st in Varsity OID. Allie Dirkschneider, Isabella Wegnar, Isaiah Coufal, and Jose Arita- Segovia placed 6th in Varsity OID. Briggs Ernst & Hudson Dobbins got 3rd in V Duet, Garret Praest & Noah Coufal got 4th in V Duet, and Copper & Isaiah got 5th in Varsity Duet. Allie got 1st in JV Entertainment, Annaleese Beason got 1st in JV Serious. McKenzie Sincelar got 1st in JV Persuasive Speaking, Addie Dobbins and Tenley Ernst got 2nd in JV Duet, Alessa Gall got 2nd in JV Informative. Audrey Praest, Gabe Martin, Garrett Radcliff, and Jimmy Ratzlaff got 2nd in JV OID. Audrey Praest got 2nd in JV. In Serious, Emma Ortmeier got 2nd in JV Persuasive. Garret Radcliff got 3rd in JV Humorous, Alessa Gall got 4th in JV Serious, and POI. Marua got 4th in JV Extemporaneous and got 5th in JV Persuasive. Addie, Emma, and Tenley got 6th in JV OID. Allie, Isabella, Isaiah, and Jose placed 6th in Varsity OID. Overall, the speech team had a strong showing at this meet with a total of 420 points as a team!
