Wisner track triangular

On Monday, March 23, the Howells Dodge track team headed to Wisner Pilger to compete in their second track meet of the year in a triangular with Winside and Wisner. It was a pretty chilly day, but nonetheless, the track team still put out good results. 

To start off, Grant Perrin got first in the 100 m with a time of 11.86. He also got first in the 200 m as well, with a time of 23.76. In the girls' 100 m, Isabella Wegner - 3rd, Audrey Praest - 2nd, and Maura - 1st, with a time of 13.83. Reagan Bayer got 2nd and Maura 1st in the 200 m, 29.67. In the 400 m, Gabe Martin - 2nd and Oliver Belina -1st, 58.83. Cael Jones won the 2-mile. Isaac Meyer and Andre Martin finished in the top 2 in the 100 mH as well as the 300 MH. Audrey Praest won the 100 mH and got second place in the 300 mH. The girls' 4x100 got first. The boys' 4x800 also got first. 5 boy jags finished top 5 in long jump. Noah Coufal won the triple jump. Reagan Bayer won the girls' long jump, and Kylie Birchacek won the girls' triple jump. 

 Overall, this was a good track meet for the Jags, and they look forward to more improvements in the future.
