Track travels to Aquinas
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Monday, April 6, the Jaguar track team traveled to David City Aquinas. For the boys' events in high jump, Andre Martin placed 1st. For the long jump, Isaac placed 7th, and Oliver Belina placed 4th. The results for triple jump were Noah Coufal placing 1st and Jimmy Ratslaff placing 8th. For shot put, Briggs Ernest placed 2nd. Throwing discus, Briggs got 4th. Starting with running events, the 4x800 team placed 4th, with the members being Noah, Gabe Martin, Luke Belina, and Jarrett Perrin. Competing in the 110HH were Andre, placing 1st, Isaac, placing 5th, and Andrew Brester, placing 4th. Running the 300 IH, Andre placed 2nd and Isaac placed 3rd. Battling in the 400 was Oliver, placing 6th. Running the 1600 was Luke, placing 8th, and running the 3200 was Noah, placing 3rd. The 4x100 placed 3rd with the members being Jax Nelson, Oliver, Andrew, and Jarrett. To end the day, the 4x400 team ran and ended the race, placing 4th with the members being Andre, Noah, Isaac, and Gabe.
Starting for the girls in the long jump was Isabella Wegner, placing 7th. In triple jump was Isabella placed 6th, Kylie Brichacek placing 2nd, and Avery Bayer placing 8th. For discus was Kylie who placed 4th, Peyten Becker placed 1st, and Tenley Ernst placed 5th. Running the 4x800 were Jerzie, Shayla Gall, Norah Noyd, and Dani, and they placed 7th. For the 100 HH was Audrey Praest placed 2nd, and Avery placed 6th. Competing in the 100 were Isabella, placing 7th, and Maura Cada, placing 5th. Running in the 400 was Jerzie Haferland, placing 5th. Battling in the 800 was Brynn Throener, placing 5th. The 4x100 team placed 5th with the members being Isabella, Kylie, Maura, and Audrey. At the end of the day, the 4x400 team placed 8th with the members being Kylie, Jerzie, Brynn, and Norah.
