FCCLA Chapter Recycles Paper

Over 6000 Lbs. this year!

The Howells-Dodge-Clarkson FCCLA members have recycled over 6,000 lbs. of paper products during the 2012-2013 school year.  Each week a committee of two FCCLA members collects recycled newspaper, office paper, cardboard and magazines from containers placed in the school classrooms and office areas.  The paper is weighed and taken to the Green Fiber recycling trailer on the southwest corner of the school.  The chapter has recycled 6,047.8 lbs. of paper since the beginning of the school year.

The money raised from this project has been earmarked by the Village of Howells for the Howells Swimming Pool Fund.  The Howells-Dodge members would like to thank the administration, staff and students at Howells-Dodge Consolidated Schools for their cooperation with this recycling effort.
