FCCLA Seat Belt Follow-up Survey Held November 13

    After doing activities promoting seat belt use at Howells-Dodge Consolidated Schools, the Howells-Dodge FCCLA Chapter did a second seat belt survey in the school parking lot on Friday, November 13 before school.  The members found that 97.9% of student drivers were wearing their seat belt and 95.4% of passengers were using seat belts.  This activity was done as part of the chapter’s Families Acting for Community Traffic Safety project in conjunction with Teens in the Driver Seat.   Assisting with the seat belt survey were Shelby Risch and Ashlynn Throener.   Each driver and passenger was given a Fruit Roll-up with the message:  “Don’t get rolled up in an accident.  Wear your seat belt and drive safety.”
