Jaguars take down the Bulldogs

On Friday, December 12, the Lady Jags took on the Humphrey/Lindsay Bulldogs. The Jags won with a score of 55-24. H-D set the tone from the start, allowing the Bulldogs to score 3 points in the first quarter. In the first half, the Jags allowed 12 points to allow a comfortable lead into the second half. The Jags nabbed 18 deflections and 14 steals. Coach Scott Polacek said, “Our defense was really clicking in the middle 2 quarters. That was a big win for us against a well-coached team.”

Leading the team in points was Kylie Brichacek with 11, Audrey Brabec and Brynn Throener each with 9, Kenadie Throener with 8, Peyten Becker and McKenzie Sindelar each with 6, and Bella Koliha and Addison Heard each with 3. Leading in rebounds were Brabec with 10, Becker with 6, and K. Throener with 5. Leading in assists was Becker with 7.
