Howells-Dodge Girls fall short to North Bend Central

On Saturday, February 7, the Lady Jags travelled to Stanton to take on the North Bend Tigers in the consolation East Husker Conference game. The game went into double overtime, and the team couldn’t secure the win against the Tigers. The Lady Jags received fourth place in the East Husker Conference Tournament.

Leading scorers for the Jaguars were Kylie Brichacek with 18, Kenadie Throener with 16, Audrey Brabec with 9, Brynn Throener and Addison Heard each with 3, and McKenzie Sindelar with 2. 

Leading the team in rebounds was Audrey Brabec with 13, Kylie Brichacek with 8, Kenadie Throener with 7, Brynn Throener with 4, Peyten Becker with 3, and Addison Heard with 13. 

Leading the team with steals was Audrey with 3, McKenzie, Kylie, Brynn, and Peyten with 2 each, and Kenadie with 1.
