In total, Kylie scored 21 points, had 5 rebounds, and made 53 percent of her shots. Audrey also had 5 rebounds and an assist. Addison had 3 points, one rebound, and 2 assists. Mckenzie scored 3 points, had 3 rebounds, and 6 assists. Brynn scored 5 points, 4 rebounds, and a steal. Peyten scored 7 points, had 4 rebounds, and 2 assists. Kenadie Throener scored 4 points, had 1 rebound, and 1 assist. The team's total was 43 points. The Jaguar girls really tried their best, but they just could not get the job done. The final score was 53-43 with GACC winning. Mr.P said after the game, “ While HD finished 9-9 from the FT line and blocked 10 shots, GACC blocked 11 shots and were 17-22 from the FT line and made 8 3’s. We got into an early hole and kept battling, but a solid team like GACC will answer every run you make, and they did just that. We shot 33% for the night, which is OK, but we needed a few more baskets to make their lead disappear.”
The Lady Jags will take on Lutheran High Northeast on Tuesday, January 13, in Howells, starting at 6 pm.
