Lady Jags battle against the Pendragons
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Monday, January 26, the Lady Jags took on the Pender Pendragons in Dodge. The Jaguars led All-Class #10 rated Pender 34-24 with 7 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter in an EHC top 10 battle. Pender finished the 3rd quarter with 6 made threes on 10 attempts to lead with 1:45 in the 3rd quarter. The Lady Jags finished the game with an impressive 63% from 2-point range, but HD’s 6 made 3’s could not pull out the win. Coach Scott Polacek said, “There was a lot of offense in this one. We were able to limit Pender’s inside game for almost the whole contest, but they rained some 3’s down on us in that 3rd quarter. We kept them in reach until the final two minutes. The girls gave it all they had and were right there. A performance like that, later in the season, might be enough to pull us through some other challenging games.”
