FCCLA Members Conduct Seat Belt Survey
The Howells-Dodge FCCLA Chapter held a seat belt survey in the Howells-Dodge school parking lot before school on Friday, October 16. Student drivers and their passengers were surveyed to find out how many were wearing seat belts. The survey showed that 94% of drivers were wearing seat belts and 6% were not. Among passengers, 84% were wearing seat belts and 16 % were not. FCCLA members would like to remind everyone to wear their seat belt every time they drive or ride.
This activity was done as part of the Zero Crazy project for Teens in the Driver Seat and as part of the chapter’s FCCLA Families Acting for Community Traffic Safety project. Assisting with the survey were Lexie Brester, Janessa Schmidt and Shelby Risch.
