FCCLA Recycling Project Continued in 2020-2021
Members of the Howells-Dodge FCCLA Chapter have recycled 5,016 lb. of paper during the 2020-2021 school year. Each week two FCCLA members pick up paper from classroom and the office areas the school in Howells. The paper sorted, weighed and taken to the GreenFiber recycling trailer on the south edge of the school grounds. The paper collected is then recycled. The Village of Howells receives $25 for each ton of paper recycled. This money is put toward the costs of operating the Howells Swimiming Pool. The FCCLA chapter would like to thank students, staff, and administration for doing their part to recycle in our school.
