FCCLA Members Earn Medals at District STAR Events

Congratulations to these Howells-Dodge FCCLA Members who participated in the District 5 STAR Events in Humphrey on Wednesday, January 25.  31 members qualified for the State STAR Events which will be held during the State FCCLA Leadership Conference in Lincoln on April 2-4.  They are:  Kelsie Coufal - Career Investigation Level 2- 2nd Place, Gold; Landon Dobbins and Nessa Krupka  - Chapter in Review Display Level 3 - 1st Place, Gold; DeLoise Peacock and Justenne Carstens - Chapter in Review Portfolio Level 3 - 2nd Place, Silver; Rylan Nelson, Colton Klosen, Dane Meyer - Event Management Level 3 - 2nd Place, Gold; Hannah Hinrichsen, Kiearra Harper, Kylee Compton - Fashion Design Level 3 - 1st Place, Gold; Kara Cerveny and Natalie Pieper - Focus on Children Level 3 -1st Place, Silver; McKynzie Reese, Tori Smith - Food Innovations Level 3, - 1st Place, Silver; Isabel Belina and Annemarie Slaughter - Interior Design Level 2 - 1st Place, Gold; Amy Praest and Adyson Krupka - Nutrition and Wellness Level 2 - 1st Place, Gold; Reagan Koliha, Gage Stutzman, Eva Martin - Professional Presentation Level 3 - 2nd Place, Silver; Connor Kreikemeier, Nathan Hegemann, Aiden Meyer - Repurpose and Redesign Level 3 - 1st Place, Gold; Carson Heard, Melvin Delgado, Hailey Knapp - Sports Nutrition Level 2 - 1st Place, Silver; Carly Bayer, Sophie Dvorak, Blair Fiala - Sports Nutrition Level 3 - 1st Place, Gold.  Earning 3rd Place were:  Taylor Steffensmeier, Jade Bayer and Ava Noyd - Focus on Children Level 3, Silver;  Cooper Kreikemeier, Kenadie Throener - Food Innovations Level 2, Silver; and Chelsea Ramirez - Interior Design Level 3 - Bronze.
